Peter was born and raised in Seoul, Korea. He studied economics at UCLA and worked in the business consulting industry where he learned the importance of professionalism and faced the real challenge of integrating Christian faith with work. About 8 years ago, Peter stepped into vocational pastoral ministry serving young adults and college students at IN2 Onnuri Church in New York City. After completing M.Div program at Biblical Seminary in Philadelphia, PA, Peter joined Maranatha Grace Church in North Jersey where he was able to witness what it means to build a Gospel-centered community.

His wife, Herim, is a graphic designer who loves sushi and indoor plants. They have been married for eight years and blessed with three beautiful daughters, Noelle, Monet, and Renee. As a Millennial foodie couple, Peter and Herim have truly discovered the secret that food always tastes better when serving others in the community through table fellowship at home. They have a strong desire to cultivate the Kingdom culture of inviting others into their lives, going into their brokenness, and pointing each other to Christ.

박한얼 목사는 복음만이 모든 것을 바꾼다는 것을 믿습니다. 목회자 가정에서 태어나 자랐으나 여느 사람과 다르지 않게 세상의 성공과 명예를 추구하며 살았습니다. 복음은 머리로 이해하고 있었으나 그 능력이 무엇인지 몰랐습니다. 경제학을 전공하고 컨설턴트로 일하던 중 성령 하나님께서 회개와 믿음으로 이끄는 은혜를 주셨고, 그 결과 삶의 주인과 목적이 완전히 바뀌었습니다. 복음이 삶의 모든 영역에 변화와 회복을 가져온다는 것을 경험하게 되었고, 그 결과 현재는 결혼과 가정, 직장과 학교, 사회와 문화 등 매일의 삶의 현장을 복음의 관점으로 바라본다는 것이 무엇을 의미하는지 배우고 나누는데 가장 큰 관심이 있습니다.

2014년에 결혼한 아내는 혜림은 그래픽디자이너 (herimpark.com) 로 활동하고 있고, 자녀로는 노엘, 모네, 르네가 있습니다. 현재 Glendale에 살고 있고 주말에는 미술관, 공원, 새로 생긴 맛집 등을 탐방하거나 하나님 창조하신 아름다운 자연에서 산책하는 것을 좋아합니다.
